The image features the Cinderford Town A.F.C. squad, dating roughly from the late 1960s or early 1970s.
My father, Gordon Blake, is standing in the back row, first on the far left. He was a player for the club during this competitive era before going on to establish Gordon Blake Funeral Directors in Lydney and Cinderford in 1982, as well as serving as chairman for the Lydney Bowls Club. We are still trying to figure out the identities of the other gentlemen in the lineup.
