Thanks to Sandra Walding for adding: "The shop behind the memorial is R W Jones (Grocer) I can remember going in there with my Mum to do the shopping. After Mr Jones gave up it then became Bower & Sons Chemist, now it is Cinderford Pharmacy".

Left of Jones is Moore's baker, Davis fast food(!) also occupied by Radiolec at the time of the other photograph, Westaways and the George publicans Mr and Mrs Priest from Bream. On the left is Monty Jacobs clothing emporium!"
