Gerald Hoare added (Jan 2008): "The E. Kilby is I think one of several brothers who played rugby for Berry Hill and Cinderford. Harry Kilby was captain of Berry Hill in the early 1920's, he then emigrated to America where his daughter Roberta still lives. I go out each year to see her but she knows little about her family as two other brothers went to America and Canada repectively. Her mother May was a sister to my grandmother Edith White (nee Harris), who were a
large family from Five Acres of which two are still surviving".
