Slight error in the text, it should read end of WW2 in Europe<br>A question to ask people; can anyone remember perhaps with a photo the celebration to burn an effigy of Hitler held at the entrance of the Red &amp; White bus depot in High Street? If memory serves me correctly he (Hitler) was suspended from a rope held high up.
