The group photo of Lydney British Legion Women’s Section must have been taken some time in the 1930s, but I haven’t been able to narrow it down. I posted it in the Facebook group “Genealogy Clues- Dating Old Photographs”, and was given estimates of 1930-34, and 1935-36. So the first half – middle of the 1930s, but that’s as close as we can get.
I also posted it in the group “I grew up in Lydney and Aylburton“, in the hope that people could identify some of the ladies.
