An object from Bream? dated 1906

Can anyone identify this object please.
Was posted on a FB group.
Sold in an auction.
Probably a spelling mistake it must be Bream Tufts
The surname was common in the village for years.
Many thanks.
Phil Sampson

The inscription reads:

JOHN . ELSMORE
BREANS . TUFFS
GLOUCESTERSHIRE
1906

Found a couple of newspaper articles mentioning a John elsmore of bream,
1908 up in front of the petty sessions in lydney for failing to collar his dog, and another from 1905 for letting two cows stray onto the highway – looks like he was a collier and small time farmer
