In the badger hunt I guess the man with the hunting horn is the local squire.My dad Ben Gwilliam left the forest just before the war to join the police force and returned to Lydney in 1968 as the police superintendent. His wife Dora Gwilliam was a popular local singer known as the forest nightingale. I went to Lydney Grammar and left the forest in 1972. I now live in Exmouth
