The Rising Sun Inn at Moseley Green.

An early photo of the Rising Sun Inn at Moseley Green taken by the Rev. A J Lumbert. This is a glass plate that has been hand-coloured. At first glance today it might seem surprising that a pub was run in such an thinly populated area - but men were once employed at Moseley Green in coal mining and brick making. The railway also passed closed to the pub.

Amanda added (Feb 2023): "... I'm the granddaughter of Lillian isabel Thomas and Hubert and daughter to Sheila Thomas who lived in Moseley Green back in 1937...what a lovely photo to see"..
