A photo of John Hodges underground at Morses Level coal mine near Moseley Green.

John added: "... The photograph was taken mid 1980's. A level had been driven through the crop of the coal on the Yorkley side of the Blakeney Road opposite the now demolished cottages near to the arched section entrance to Morses Level. The coal worked was the Yorkley seam –also called the Yard Delf and was about 2 feet in thickness. The photo was taken in a face opened up on the right hand side of the dipple".
