(Above) A photo of ‘Crindy Wintle ‘ ( true name now known - see below), in the doorway of Severn View, Upper Oldcroft. Crindy had two daughters: Ethel ( Married Harry Martin , from Viney Hill ) and Dora who Married Sgt Bernard Wood.

Gill Regan added (June 2017): "... Crindy Wintle; William Henry a.k.a. Harry Wintle abt.1876 - 1952. He was married to Cora (nee) Wintle 1873- 1952 in 1900. They were related, hence both Wintles. I do have more info. if required".
