Jane wrote: "Have been trying to track down the subject of this photo, and with help from the Everything Portishead site of Facebook, have discovered that it's at Norchard, near Lydney. The original was too small to see the lettering on the end of the building. On a Google search I found an old aerial photo of the building - wordsearch power station in the britainfromabove website and it'll turn up. ... It would have been taken when my grandparents were visiting friends in Lydney, probably late 1920s or early 1930s".
