Dave Dunn added: "... I was a neighbour of Cledwyn and remember him, he played for England schools. I know Lydney played a team called 1908 Rickingen and the man top left is Cyril Bailey who ran the touch line and told me he took a pass from the winger as he ran alongside so touched down".

Brian Gardiner added: "... I played rugby with most of those on the photograph. Played with Cleddwny Davies and Winston Morris at LGS. Photograph names: Cleddwyn Davies is middle row number 7, Number 8 is John Hoskins".

Brian further added: "... I think that the first player n the back row is Jeremy Williams - later to become Chairman of L.R.F.C.. Second player in back row is possibly Brian Parker. Brian was in the RAF at Innsworth. I suspect that he was person who organised the tour".
