Rob added: " ... Although the file name of the photo says 1974, I am sure that is wrong as it has Mr Beeley in the photo and he would not have been there in ’74 as by then LGS would have converted to Whitecross Comprehensive".

Bob Smith added:"... I think it is probably a bit earlier than 1973 or 74 ....I joined when I was about 13 /14 in 1974 or '75 and Emery , Daddo Langoie and Laurence Clerk were all a bit older as ...At least 16 and more like 17 or 18 by the time I joined. older by then ...".

Allan McOwan added: "The ATC photo was when the Squadron won the Wing Community trophy. Front row Next to Frank James is Fg Off Paul Brown Sitting next to me and Mr Beeley was Wg Cmdr Gerald Williams".

Stephen Davies added (Dec 2022): "... . I joined the RAF in 1974 and did Twelve Years".
