Jeff Jones added: "...Would the aforementioned Brian Fowler be the same chap who was our Instructor at the Ranks Apprentice Training School and later Head of Training, during my time there from 1978-1983?. He came from a farming background I think ?. The boy's face certainly looks like it could be, our BF was red-headed and lanky. If so I hope he sees this as he was a good chap, thanks & best wishes Brian from an ex R.X. Apprentice".

Gill Knowles added: "... Yes, this would be the same Brian Fowler, and I think the little boy in the darker jumper to the left of the front row is probably his brother Robert".
