Bob Philpott added" "... I am the young man looking at the camera in the top right photograph (unfortunately I can also remember the jumper). I am trying to put a date to the photo. I look early teens in the photo but County Cricket wasn't played at Lydney until 1963, when I would have been 14. I did live in Tutnalls Street so I could walk down and watch the odd match if I wanted to. There was a West indies tour in the 1960s when a Glos side played a W.Indies side at Lydney and I spent a day manning the scoreboard with Grantley Cleaver. I wonder whether with all the flags etc, this was that match?. I can't find that match on the internet so can't confirm the date".

Verna Wheeler (was Thorne) added (July 2014): "... I believe this was the county cricket in 1963. I think my brothers Pete and Brian got into trouble for climbing up on the roof of the marquee and sliding down. We also lived in Tutnalls next door to the afore mentioned Grantley Cleaver".

Richard Powell added (November 2021): "... In the foreground of the picture, top right, is my father, Keith Powell, and to the left, the cricketer is the legendry Mike Proctor, carrying his son".
