Men outside the King's Head at Coleford taken around 1936

"I believe that I am the little boy in the photo and that it would have been taken by my father, Harold Barnard, of Barton and Barnard's Chemist, the shop on the corner of Bank Street opposite the King's Head".
"I ... would put the date of the photo as around 1936 ... With regard to identifying the men in the photo, I am certain of two, reasonably sure of another, know the names of two more, but not sure of which is which".
L-R: 1, 2 ,3 Sid Ashworth (teacher at Bell's Grammar School), 4 Mr Williams, 5 Ray Howell (Estate Agent), 6, 7, 8 Frank Prisk (of Prisk and Evans Garage, Gloucester Road)

Dennis Barnard.
"The other two names are a Mr Williams and a Mr Tom Jones - but I cannot be sure of which ones they are". "Mr Williams, he had a grocery shop up Gloucester Road".
