On the middle row, number 2 is Frank Weaving (Father of aforementioned, Eric Weaving). number 7 is Vic Mindy (also the local barber). On the front row, number 5 is Bill Bevan (Cinderford Town's, prolific, Centre Forward). Great thanks and appreciation, to my Father, Bob Ruck, for putting a few more, missing names to sadly forgotten faces".

John Phillips added (May 2025): "... Row 2 No.7 is Vic Mundy (not Mindy). He ran a barber's shop in the Triangle in Cinderford for many years. When he retired he sold the business to Hubert Evans of Lydbrook. Hubert's wife, Winifred, was the organist of Lydbrook Baptist Church and also accompanied Drybrook Male Voice Choir.
