Cinderford Detachment of the Army Cadet Force 2nd-4th Regiment attached to the Herefordshire Light Infantry at camp at Penhale in 1965.

Alan Watkins added: "... I remember Cinderford detachment - I was in Quedgeley and then (when it closed) Gloucester Barracks (later RGH) detachment. Great to see the pics of the Nibletts. They were much respected by my father (Maj Frank Watkins)".

Frank Johnston added (June 2019): "... I remember the Nibblets from that camp in Penhale, also Alan Watkins, and his father Frank, a lovely man. I was also in the RGH, cadets in Barrack Square Gloucester. We had a great bunch of lads there",

Pete Jones added (October 2020): "... Was in the Arle Rd detachment in Cheltenham around1967- 71, we used to go to Cinderford camp for w/ends. Spent a week or 2 at Penhale in my 1st term in junior soldiers".
