Gill Knowles added " ... Before he became the Headmaster of Bream School, Mr Ken Pritchard taught the top class at St John's school Coleford, when Miss Ethel Cole was in charge. He was an excellent teacher, and many of his pupils passed the examination for Bells Grammar School. He played cricket, and I remember having to work out the average scores for the team in our maths lesson".
Robert J Watkins added: "... I remember Mr Ken Pritchard at Pillowell school, he taught me in the late 1930's, He was a good cricketer".
Bob Smith added: "... I went to firstly Bream Infants and then Bream Juniors and Mr Pritchard was the headmaster . I recall him as wonderfully patient and kind to us all. I was taught by Miss Cooke, Mrs Marfell and then for the last 2 years by Mrs Richards with Ken taking us for Maths. Wonderful memories of my early school days".
