Announcement On behalf of the church council, application
is to be made to the Chancellor of the diocese of Gloucester for permission
to remove certain gravestones and other memorials in the south-west corner
of the Churchyard of St James' Bream.
Anyone wishing to object to such clearances should make written application
to me on or before Monday 9th November giving details of gravestones or
memorials which they wish to see retained.
As a general rule such memorials as receive constant care and attention
are likely to be retained and those of architectural merit.
