Shirley Powell (nee Thomas) and Joan Davis (nee Thomas) at the Paddock Stone around 1945. The Paddock Stone is a memorial to the Rev. John F Gosling the third vicar of Bream and is still located in The Paddock to the left of Parowell Lane.
