Bream Infants School - Postcard dated September 7th 1909

The school was opened in 1907. Overcrowding at the National School (opposite) meant that the infants were temporarily taught in the chapel at the top of Whitecroft road. Despite the large carved lintel above the main entrance displaying "Bream Infants School", it was renamed "Bream Council School" in 1910
