The newspaper report dated Sept 21st 1935 says "The village of Whitecroft elected its first 'Lord Mayor' on Saturday".
The first Whitecroft Lord Mayor's Show was orgainsed by the Whitecroft Male Voice Choir at this time nearly 100 strong.
