Viney Hill - funeral of Petulengro the Gypsy King.

Roger wrote: "... The Funeral of the Romany King, Gypsy Petulengro, around 1955, aroused much interest, as can be seen in this photo. The coffin was carried on horse and cart provided by Mr Alec Biddington of Pitching Green, and lead by a parade from the local R.A.O.B. (Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes) Lodge,of which he was a member. His Italian Black Marble Tombstone can be found behind the church".
