Arrived in Weston safely, although I changed my mind and didn't ride all the way, I went by boat from Newport as it is a "bob". A glorious day Sun hot. Tell Nell I shall take a man up to Congresbury with letter. Write a note soon to - 9 Alma Street, Weston.S.Mare (H)".
Gill Knowles added: "... Although the date does n't seem quite right I feel that there are too many coincidences regarding the names mentioned for it not to be my grandmother and her siblings. Adelaide Grindell was my Grandmother's older sister. My Grandmother was Louisa Ellen but was known as Nell and at one time was a teacher in Congesbury. They had a younger sister called Jess and a brother called Harry".
