Bevan's Yard at Soudley, Gloucestershire in 1965.

The Bevan's buildings behind the lorries finally disappeared in 2008.
James added: "The Workshop & Office near
the house were built in the late 1940's. More buildings were added in early to mid 1950's"
Michael Stephens added (Dec 2008): "The bus behind the
lorries looks like WDF569, a Leyland Willowbrook DP41F which was new in 1959
and sold in 1980 to' Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus
Trust' (BaMMOT) Wythall and is preserved. This information came from 'Fleet
Histories of Selected Independent Operators Gloucestershire, Part 1 Forest
of Dean and Tewkesbury Areas' published in 2005 and also on front cover of
above book is a picture of WDF269. Also Bus and Coach Preservation Magazine,
August 2001 had an article about same vehicle in preservation".
