With the demolition of the "Cornish" council houses in Sling this month, this wedding photo shows the area before the houses were built. The 1926 council houses, Nos 1 and 2 Oakwood Rd can be seen in the background. These are still standing.

The wedding group are assembled outside Rose Cottage in Clays Road, Sling. Clays Road is the track behind them. The Oak tree to the left is still standing - now in a garden
