The Freemine at Morses Level, Howbeach.

From the Gloucester Journal of Feb. 1974—the then owners of Morse's Level No 2 ( at Howbeach) John Hodges and Phillip Willet.
Ken Morse added: "... I have my own family website www.kenmorse.co.uk and my family moved from Yorkley to North Staffordshire in the 50's as my Dad was a miner at the Norchard, which was closing at that time. However, I do not recall hearing of 'Morses Level' - is the origin of the name known please?".
