Parkend timber haulage by a traction engine.

Phil asks: "has anyone seen this picture before? It is stated and appears to be taken outside Parkend sawmills; with the Square in the background. The engine a Garrett is believed to have belonged to Mr. J. Nash from Whitecroft. Do you know any more about it or him"?

Ian Thomas of Forest Prints added: "... I've attached a picture of James Nash's Sentinel Steam Lorry used for hauling coal that may be of interest. I would think that being involved in transport, he or his descendants may have been involved with Nash & Morgan in Whitecroft".
