Richard Shingles added (March 2011): "... think that photo is of Whitecroft carnival".
Roger Smith added (March 2011): "... My wife Jennifer has confirmed it is a Whitecroft carnival. The picture was taken in a field by Whitecroft Pin Factory".

Robert Hepler added (November 2018): "... What was the year of this photo? Have a Sarah Nelmes in my lineage in Lydney, and trying to determine the timing...".
