Ted added: "... the cup was the Lydbrook Hospital cup played for annually by only Forest teams with all proceeds going to the hospital. I have no idea what happenrd to the cup. Each winning player in the final recieved a small trophy as shown in the photo".

"The game was played at the Cinderford Town ground between Mitcheldean and Broadwell.
Mitcheldean won 2-1."
