Plump Hill at Mitcheldean.

Looking
from Mitcheldean up towards "The Plump"
Thanks to "zhipbadger" who added (April 2008): "At the wall to the
immediate RH side was the yard to George Read Transport Ltd, it passed
through several hands - Freeforesters Transport. It is now a housing
estate".
"The road going up the Plump Hill was a new road made in about 1840 to ease
the burden of horses which either had to haul their heavy loads up the
Stenders Road to Drybrook, or up the Plump Hill by another very steep
track that went the centre of the bank shown and up over to the left of
the Wilderness estate".
