This superb photo of an old Forest cottage was supplied by Robert Smith, The cottage was occupied by Robert's family and is located at Woolaston Common, bordering Common Wood.

Judith Kelman asked (December 2020): "... Robert, when you say 'the Smith family' do you have any names? My mother was a Smith and it wasn't a common name here then".
