Peter Essex asked (March 2009): "Was there ever a railway track on the opposite side from that tip?!"

Ron Watkins added (February 2010): "... Yes there was a railway line opposite those tippers as can be seen in the book (Branch Lines around Lydney)".

David Long added (Aprl 2012) " ... - yes there was a line, it went in to Pine End works to the boiler house".

Alan Powell added (March 2022): (... The Pine End Works didn't open until 1940, and this photo seems to be much older than that. What were the trucks on the far side doing there?").
