Roger wrote (Aug 2007): "The lady is Mary Thorn who lived at Severn View Road, Yorkley. The photograph is believed to have been taken at the rear of the Lydney shop".
This shop was located on the North side of Lydney High St.

Susan Watkins added (July 2021): "... Yes this is my auntie Mary Thorne she lived in Severn Road Lydney".
