The Severn Queen, a Severn Ferry.
The Severn Queen crossing the river Severn at the Old Passaage; Beachley - Aust.
Michael Jones added (December 2015): "... My father Roy Jones of Jones Motors, Tushill, had the contract to maintain and repair the three ferries . On school holidays or week-ends I would spend the day riding back and forwards . And some times travel up to the moorings in the Wye . The captain of the Queen, Ben Browne was a very funny man. One day on approaching Aust I was steering the ferry, Dad and Ben had gone for a cup of tea. I was getting nervous and about to steer back out into the river as we were getting close to dock - there was Ben and dad outside watching. They were good times".
