Olivia Hawkins Kennedy added (June 2012): "... This picture of Newerne Street was probably taken in 1919. The house where the street light is was once the home of the Watts family. Then a Mr.Fred Green had a sweet and grocery shop there. Behind the wall on the right of the picture were four houses and my grandparents lived in the end one and my brother Frank was born there in1920 and I was born there also. The houses were owned by the Watts family and one was later turned into the Red and White Bus Office".
