My mother was the youngest and had 4 older brothers as above.
My mother was only about 3 years old there and I remember her saying she was clinging on to Uncle Ken. She married my lovely father Benjamin Phillip Johnson & had four children, my older brother Simon, then Katherine & then myself Hilary & my twin brother Paul.
After living in Lydney as a little child I remember moving into Greendale a bungalow in Yorkley in Johnson’s way, which was named after my Grandad who we called ‘Papa’ Cameron Riley Johnson who was well thought of & use to like writing about life.
We moved into the bungalow so my mother & father could look after Papa, he had his own room looking over the garden, I have so many fond memories in Greendale.
Before moving up to Slade Road where we lived for many years".
