Lydney Ambulance c 1914-1918.

Jim wrote (Oct 2008): "Have come across a postcard amongst some old family photos, as per attachment. It appears to be of a Lydney ambulance of the First World War era when Lydney Town Hall was used to house wounded soldiers. If you do include it in your FoD photos, someone might have more details"
John
Ruck added: (Oct 2008): "Surely this is not a working
ambulance. It looks more like a carnival float especially with the Red
Cross flag on the bonnet of the lorry and a 'patient' in a bed"
