This is a recent photo (2000) taken from the vantage point of the course of the Severn & Wye railway line.

Thanks to Rita James for adding (July 2007): "My father John (Jack) Alan James was born in Sarah Siddons cottage in December 1921 - in the top floor of the annex on right. I believe my grandparents lived in the annex. My grandmother informed me it had a dirt floor".

Ceri-Ann lewis added (May 2020): "... My grandad Norman (Nobby) Hall was born in this house in the 1930's, he always told us there were tunnels that lead out into the fields behind Sarah Siddon's house".
