Mike wrote (December 2007): "I am sending this photo to of Lydbrook School Christmas Party from 1953 or 1954. I went to Lydbrook School until 1955 before transfering to Joys Green School.
Perhaps someone can help by put more names to the photo.

Thanks to John Kennedy who added (Jan 2008): "Father Christmas is my mother, Eileen Kennedy, wife of the Headteacher P.C. (Charles) Kennedy. The real Father Christmas had not arrived so she volunteered to dress up for the photograph. Mrs Kennedy died in 1963 and Mr Kennedy in 1993 in Cirencester Hospital".

Hubert Parry added (December 2014): "... The boy on the end right, is this Hubert Parry. The one hanging onto his friend's jumper"
