DJH 737F - an AEC with Plaxton C41F was purchased by Edwards in1978 and sold in 1982.
831 SHW - a Bristol FLF with Eastern Coachworks 70 seater (38 - 32 was the seating spilt) and new to Bristol Omnibus. It was bought by Edwards in 1977 and sold in 1982 and was one of the last 'deckers' used by Edwards which at that time was owned by Paul Tizard Holdings.
198 KFC - was new to the 'City of Oxford' and purchased by Edwards in1972 and sold in 1978. It was a AEC East Lancs L58RD a low-bridge 'decker' with rear entrance and doors fitted .
XHO 376 - an AEC with Weyman B40F bodywork new to 'Aldershot and District' and shown in acquired livery in 1974. It was sold in 1978.
The livery of Edwards coaches was changed from green to blue upon the takeover of Edwards coaches by the Paul Tizard group.
"The photo of DJH 737F was taken on the road from Lydbrook to Joys Green. Looking at the photo, the house with bay window was lived in by Mr Owen Toobs who worked for Edwards. On the opposite side can be seen the railings of the recreation ground".

Bob Wyatt added (April 2011): "... I believe that this is the AEC single deck bus which was sold to Wyatt Tizard Ltd the model railway dealers who used it as a mobile sales vehicle for a couple of years. Paul was a partner in the company until 1979".
Samantha Yemm added (Feb 2014): "... My dad (MR Myles Brookes) worked for Edward`s coaches for years on and off. He went on to work for Soudley Valley coaches then Dukes coaches. He still has his badge too. Still living on Joys Green my dad is now a fit 76 yrs young".
Sue Bowkett added (July 2015): "... My dad Vic Hughes and his brother Reg had many happy years working on the buses, my dad always had lots of stories to tell about his life on the buses".
