"The photo of DJH 737F was taken on the road from Lydbrook to Joys Green. Looking at the photo, the house with bay window was lived in by Mr Owen Toobs who worked for Edwards. On the opposite side can be seen the railings of the recreation ground".

This information came from 'Fleet Histories of selected independents operators of Gloucestershire part 1 Forest of Dean and Tewkesbury areas' published by the Psv Circle in 2005

Bob Wyatt added (April 2011): "... I believe that this is the AEC single deck bus which was sold to Wyatt Tizard Ltd the model railway dealers who used it as a mobile sales vehicle for a couple of years. Paul was a partner in the company until 1979".

Samantha Yemm added (Feb 2014): "... My dad (MR Myles Brookes) worked for Edward`s coaches for years on and off. He went on to work for Soudley Valley coaches then Dukes coaches. He still has his badge too. Still living on Joys Green my dad is now a fit 76 yrs young".

Sue Bowkett added (July 2015): "... My dad Vic Hughes and his brother Reg had many happy years working on the buses, my dad always had lots of stories to tell about his life on the buses".
