The George Inn at Fetter Hill, Gloucestershire.
Frederick wrote: "This is a photograph of the George Inn, Fetter Hill taken sometime during the fifties. It looks as if it might have been taken before the photo submitted by Peter Jones (a cousin to my late mother) was taken as his appears to show The George with a lick of paint. I have no idea about the identity of the young lad sitting on the bench, as I am pretty sure it is not me".
David Evans added (June 2013): "... I can't identify the person in the 1950's picture of the George at Fetter Hil,l but I think the van might be my father's Morris 8. He bought it in the early fifties from the Post office or telephones. It was the car that I first learned to drive in 1957. We had customers down the Futtrell".
