Thanks to Aaron Richards who added (February 2010): "... I believe I can identify one of the men in the photo ( George Voyce) who looks very similar to photos I have of my grandfather. He lived in Cinderford, and would have been 34 at the time of the photo. He worked as a butcher and joined the Cinderford fire brigade at some point during the war".
