Mr Dennis Brain, former mayor of Cinderford, Mr Alvin Partridge, Mr Michael Stephens.

Michael wrote: "... Alvin Partridge was for a long time during the 1960's and 1970's the 'bingo caller' at Cinderford Miners Welfare Hall and I used to check the winning tickets- calling the numbers back".

John Stewart added (December 2017): "... A question for Michael in the photograph. I visited Cinderford a few times in the 1970's from Australia, and went to bingo at the Miners a few times. Were you the guy who sat downstairs, and called out "One down 'ere Alvin !" ? I also have a connection with another in the photograph, I worked alongside Dennis Brain at Ranks for 9 months in 1972. I was shocked to her that he passed away at a very young age. Nice guy.
