Jeff Jones added (Feb 2012): "... re Pat Spencer Maths teacher at EDGS in 58. The reason I was looking at that picture was to compare the appearance with that of the lady teacher no 2 in this Double View picture which I'd studied first. I wonder if this is also the same Pat Spencer nee ? (I do'nt know if she was married by then). I'm thinking this PURELY based on her younger - but I think similar facial appearance. The fact that she is'nt on the EDGS pics of the same year and she had a long teaching career locally. I do'nt know whether she taught at Double View".

Clive Mason added (May 2014): "... Such memories. Miss Cindery married Mr Rees the woodwork teacher. Bob Jones took the boys out to watch him hydrofoil and go kart racing which he took part in. When Mr Oliver joined Double View we were warned not to call him Mr Elver .Mrs Benson taught country dancing. Mr Butler taught pottery .Mr Probert taught music".
