Terry wrote: "Please find enclosed 3 photos of some recently acquired items. The British Legion sign which welcomed US Troops was given to me by a man who told me his father liberated it from a local dance hall. I have chatted to a couple of old US Troops who were stationed in the area but none of them remember seeing it anywhere. It came from a house in Cinderford. The second photos show a propeller from either a Hurricane or Spitfire which apparently came down in the area. it remained in a garden in Newnham until a couple of years ago".
