Margaret Foreman added (April 2011): "... I was wondering if there were any photos of children who went to this school?. My mother was born 1899 in Cinderford her name was Olive Veda Downes. Brothers and sisters were Elsie, Lily and Ted. Or if there are other Schools with photos taken in the early 1900's? My mother was confirmed by the Lord A. Bishop of Gloucester in St Stephen's Church on December 2nd. 1912. Would there be any documents at the church about this?. They lived on Woodside Street. With thanks, if there is anything you may know it would be wonderful".

Meryl Kempster added (July 2013): "... My mother, Vellyse Robbins, was also born in Cinderford in 1899, so it would seem she was a contemporary of your mother and probably was at the same school. I don't have any photos though".
