John Phillips added (March 2013): "... From the telegraph pole in the picture I would say that this picture was taken long before the 1960s. I think it is probably 1930s or early 1940s".

M Beavan added (July 2021): "... Not sure if this is Benjamin Challenger, who married Ellen Cooper. It is a copy taken from a photo album belonging to my Great Grandmother, Annie French (nee Rickards). In the album it gives his name as Albert but the back of the photograph is signed, With kind regards, Ben. To, Annie and Art. (Art would have been my Great Grandfather, Arthur Cooper.) " ,
