Foxes Bridge colliery in 2012.

Foxes Bridge Beam

Paul added: "... I often walk my dog around the old Foxes Bridge coal mine and saw on your site some pictures that were taken of the old beam engine that was being dug up. This morning while walking my dog there I have taken a series of pictures to show what has happened to this old beam engine and a few other pictures of the surrounding aea where this once great mine used to be. The beam itself stands at around 8 feet tall and I would say that it is in the region of 12-15 feet wide".
